I've kept quite about this for too long....

Many members are abusing the 2nd category choice when posting their ads. We offer two categories so that it will make it easier for someone to find your item, not for you to just throw in into whatever category you think it will be seen. If you're selling an Iron Cross, you should list it in the the Combat Badges section first and second, maybe, the Metal Insignia. Don't post it in SS Uniforms just because you think a lot of people look there! Tinnys don't belong in headgear and buckles don't belong in Daggers. You don't have to put it in a second category if one will do. You can select NONE in the second category list.

The whole idea of the categories is to make it easy to find what you want. If eveyone just puts anything anywhere, then we might as well just have one long list.

If you are one of the members who is guilty of this I would like to ask you to go back and edit your ads to make things right. And if you are a shopper who sees something that is in a totally inappropriate category, just click on the contact seller button and send the seller a quick email about it. That will do more good than all my begging and pleading!

In an effort to make using a second category easier I've just added a new main category called ''Organizations'', and it has sub-categories. Take a look at the category list on the home page. You might want to add some of your stuff to it as a secondary. This should help get things where they should go.

On a related subject... Please, when your item sells delete your ad. Don't just mark it ''sold''. We don't want this site to be like so many others where almost everything is marked sold. It looks bad and doesn't make the newcomers feel very confident about joining.

Let's all play the game and try to keep our site neat and organized. Thanks for your cooperation. Now go sell something!
