I wouldn't touch this thing. No inscription on the blade, sloppy workmanship, poor fit on handle. Just doesn't smell right. Do what you want but be warned.

I see the dagger is gone from the site. I wonder is it was sold, or if Bob got rid of it. Anybody know?

I searched online for photographs of daggers of similar caliber.
The pictures I saw showed wonderful fit, finish and materials.
These officer, honor and damascus weapons look like pieces of art, not pieces of junk.
I also found a replica SA style dagger with damascus blade that looked very much like that one.
Someone was too eager and bought a story rather than being careful.

After receiving some negative email and seeing the comments on this forum about the dagger, the owner cancelled the ad.... Oh well, I guess we'll never know for sure.
