Is there some place on the web that shows a collection of high quality fakes? I don't mean some place to buy then. I've found plenty of those. I mean some where that show the kind of fakes that fool people so we can be warned. Maybe this site could do something like that.

This sounds like a good idea to me. If you find such a site please post it here.

I haven't seen a site like you mention and I kind of hate to do this as I don't want to help these idiots sell more fakes. Take a look at http://www.totls.com/index.php
They have some interesting fakes. If you buy anything, a pox on you!

I've seen the site you mentioned before. Some of the pieces look good enough to fool most collectors. From what I read they are a bunch of real money grubbing sobs. They are the last thing we need in our hobby. Wish there was a way to put them out of business!

I can't help but wonder if posting the address of a fake merchant does more harm than good??? Wouldn't it be better just to ignore him and not give him the publicity? Concerned Question

Just spent the afternoon looking at the ways to identify fakes on the Wehrmact_Awards.com forum. Interestingly enough I found that I bought a replica from a well known dealer. I don't get taken too often but when I do it's a zinger!! Embarassed
