Site speed and maintaining your account.

Our site is not running as fast as I would like. I've looked into the problem and consulted with my internet ''Guru'', and think I know what the culprit is. In a nutshell, it's caused by us having so many ads! We are in the process of making some changes to the program which will hopefully make things go faster. You shouldn't see any difference in the way things function or look, all the changes will be make in the ''back end''. I've got my fingers crossed that our changes will work...

A reminder: When you get a new email address don't forget to go into your account and update it with the new address. If you don't, then you won't be able to contact other members and they won't be able to contact you.

I notice there are quite a few for sale ads on the site marked ''sold''. Come on people! Let's not be like so many other militaria sites, where half the stuff is gone already. When you sell something go your account and delete the ad... If you have ''sold'' stuff on our site please delete it today.

If you wonder why the number of pages in the Gallery dropped this week, it's because I did some ''house cleaning''. I got rid of a vendor who was loading our site with fakes, removed some ads by members who let their subscription expire for more than a month and removed some other ''questionable'' ads. Also, from what I heard from some sellers, quite a few items have sold. It's good to clean things up once in a while....
