Hello. I thought I'd try posting here to get some advice on assembling a photo collection. My intent is to assemble a moderately sized photo collection focusing on the Nazi Party during the period from 1920's up to 1939. I'm not really seeking army or wartime photographs. My question is which is the best method, in terms of expense, of assembling a collection-- should I buy large groupings of photographs or buy one piece at a time? My gut feeling at this time is that pricewise, it will be cheaper to buy in quantity as opposed to single pieces. Do any of you photo enthusiasts have any advice for a newbie just getting started?? Thanks for any help you may provide.
