god! do I hate ebay!

I'm irritated and frustrated to boot. I just got thought listing some stuff on ebay (not militaria). What a hastle, all they want to do is keep offering you more options for more money. It's too dam complicated.

I've put a couple of thing on this site and want to thank the designer for making it so easy to use. I'd rather post 10 things in this auction than 1 on ebay, it would be easier!

You think that's frustrating! Try spending all day listing some Nazi militaria on ebay just to have them remove them all and suspend your membership. Self righteous SOBs!

I have developed a pathological hatred for all things ebay. They are a bunch of self righteous hypocrites with their ridiculous policy. Their only policy is to make as much money as possible without risking the slightest chance of alienating someone that they can screw a penny from. They absolutely STINK!

Saddly Eaby has broken so many laws here in the US one can hardly grasp how Meg Wittman is not in the real big house.. No matter how much money one cheets or steels from folks when you allow the sale of alchol in the form of Scotch, Vodka, Rum,Gin etc.. let alone wine, or Beer. There are FEDERAL laws that prohibit such items crossing state lines. This is a Class A felonly of what Ebays very own Meg Wittman has aided in the act of Bootleging. This is a minum of prison for not just her but her staff that has allowed such..
Let alone with the PA laws that were invoked after 911 Such items are not allowed to be sent through the postal servive or UPS or FEDX.. Again a Federal Law and yet again a Class A felony, again she as well as her staff are guilty of as I counted well over 2,000,000 bottles in just 6 short months, this dose not include Beer, or Wine. So if one were to back date say 6 or 7 years that woudl end up at what 60,000.000 bottles of alchol? Not counting Beer and Wine, let alone the taxs from out of the US sales...

How many hundreds of years woudl Meg Wittman serve in jail??? What if it were YOU?

let alone that comes into the US from out of the US with out paying the proper tax's, Yet again a Class A felonly, so one has to ask why is that this is allowed to happen? Why is the BATF acting so lame about this issue is it that they can't be bothered? My God they go after just about anyone for any minor issue, so whats the deal with old Meg Wittman????? So many people despise eBan for the terrible customer service, and the impersonal way they treat everyone. They have a myriad of confusing vague rules that can make you their equivalent of a criminal.

The Fees now total approximately 10% total on a sold item. The site is full of ads and they change the look, the functionality, the rules and everything else constantly!

Well now they are really going too far. They are so arrogant that soon you will be forced only to use ONLY! PAYPAL, a merchant Credit Card Account or one of a couple more paying services.

No Cash, Checks, Money orders, no Cashiers or Bank checks, no bank transfers, no Western Union, No Moneygram. No nothin, unless they are making fees off the deal.

Of course this is to give you Better Security and ward off the evildoers!

RIGHT! What a load of s**t! Oops did I say that out loud?

First they turned the greatest sale site on the net into a reseller site where people in their garage just place drop ship orders for factory stock they never even see, and run auctions for items they have access to.

Hey get your Made in China Crap right there! Everything from fake Gibson Guitars to Crappy tools that break!

Then they start acting like the Gestapo toward everyone who makes the slightest honest mistake. Then they ban items that are perfectly legal to deal in (Third Reich) and not only in countries where there is a legal issue, but here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TOO!

Now they want to control everything you do from start to finish!
CORPORATE NAZISM ... THEY HAVE BECOME WHAT THEY SHOWED SUCH INTOLERANCE FOR!

AAAH KHARMA!

Let us hope for their demise and destruction so a more holistic and friendly group of sites will enter and take up the slack when they crash!

Yes ebay has out done themselfs at this point, Just so you all understand pay pal a bit better;

PP is not aligned with any standard rules of the Federal Banking & Credit laws, So whats that mean to you the buyer?

As a buyer you can loose all the funds paid if PP freezes the account of a user you buy from.

As a buyer you can also loose if the seller claims you have damaged the item.

Two ways to LOOSE.

As a SELLER; You also stand to loose; with a flip side roll, lets say the buyer claims what they got was a FAKE or something was wrong with it.

PP has a standing policy that the items must be destroyed - the buyers funds will be returned from sellers account. Seller gets a big fat SQUAT!
No proof is needed, a buyer only has to make a claim of such. Read the rules of pp its all there in black and white.

Now here is where the fun starts, now the seller who has others who have now bought something from them, but his account is now frozen until the buyer who made the claim is happy this can be up to 90 days. Now buyers who are waiting, get nothing from seller who by all rights should not be sending anything out due to the possible loss of all he has in stock his money invested, let alone profits to be made - all going to PP.

DO you really want to sell that Himmler dagger for $15 K to a CON artist that claims its a FAKE, then gets his money back from pp and your Himmler dagger too?
Keep in mind all he has to do is say he destroyed the dagger. Say it was a FAKE; NO proof is needed.

Seem fair to anyone with a brain?

Howdy Folks,

I too left eBay for good.
I almost never won an item there, but I tried every method for 4 years.
I joined this site, and about a week later a helmet appeared.
I emailed the seller and I reserved the item.
Within 2 hours he called me and removed the listing.
I sent a money order and the helmet was in my hands, faster than an ebay deal ever was.
What more could I need in a site?

Ebay stock in July 08 was $67.00 per share, today it closed at $13.00, its been dropping like a rock for the last number of months since the Great management idea that they would not longer allow paymenst by way of; Money Orders, cahsiers checks, or Personal checks,

Yep; as of October its only Pay Pal payments, so I figure about this time next year ebay will be no longer.

When you have such great managment there is only but one way to go.
Thats close the doors, and turn off the lights.

By the way ebay has now cut 1500 jobs, oddly they are looking at dropping yet 1000 more within the next month.
Thats what I call just super managment!

Oh well gone are the days when I paid then well over 12K per year in fees, yea, that hatefull nasty nazi stuff was just making their lifes so hard.

After all with all the thousands of complaints from some X spert whos web sights were being effected, lets not forget the wounderful forums that were around back then, you know what ones, how could Ebay allow free trade?

You know what I find really odd is that many of the very persons that complained and pissed and moaned, they were still selling nazi stuff, breaking all the rules! Yet they were allowed to do as they pleased.

Weird they became ebays X sperts. All the while sending low ball offers to sellers that managed to list items even with the wacko rules ebay had, then only to find out your stuff was tossed off right after you declined the low ball offer.

As I said GREAT MANAGMENT!

I had not heard about ebay allowng only Paypal payments, real cute. Not only do they get a commission on the sale, but now they make more money on the Paypal charges. But, who cares, they don't want our business anyway.

What I'm interested in is what's going on with Manions. I keep hearing rumors about this and that, but don't know anything definate. Does anyone know the real truth about their situation. I would love to hear it.
