For sale on the germanmilitariacollectibles.com site is a frame with 3 medals. Lot number F2520. All three are offered at a bargain price. I doubt if these are real. Does anyone have any information on this bargain set? Seems llike to good a deal. thanks.

I am confused why keeping these three extremely rare and valuable medals inside the frame is such a priority.

It would seem that the first requirement of a purchase on these would be a completely revealing, and sharp image that shows the details of the fronts and backs precisely.

I am not insinuating or suggesting any hint of scandal on these pieces.

However if I had seen them properly enough to make a decision favorable to their originality, they would not have remained long on this site at that price.

Without visual information, I will not buy anything. As I have said in the forum before, there is no reason for bad photos. Pictures are easy to achieve with little effort, and even with a cheap camera.

If anyone wishes to sell, they will either perform the functions that will enable selling, or they will not sell to the discerning buyer.

I agree with Nr1Seller. The seller should give close ups of the front and back of each medal and sell them seperately. I also notice that they all look like they have the same finish with the same amount of wear. Like they were all made together. Strange!

I hesitate to pressure a seller to split up a 'grouping'. Even though the 3 medals are seemingly an odd selection to be relevant to each other.

I guess a guy can decide which way to compose a lot, for his own reasons.

Personally I would keep items together only if named to the same guy or for some other obvious reason.

My experiences in collecting would agree that they would very likely bring more in total as 3 separate offerings.

I was somewhat surprised to see the way the ribbons were not expertly steam creased to angles where they go through the medal suspension rings.

Perhaps they were still unissued in un-presented form just prior to being framed.

I surmise that a genuine Blood Order would be worth thousands on its own merit, judging by the $250-$350 Panzer Assault badges out there.

I hope the seller eventually reformats this offer , and makes it possible to discover what we would be potentially buying. It takes more than vague info these days!

Anyone who buys this has to be nuts. No guarantee and he is in New Zealand, which might as well be Mars. If the stuff is bad you can't even visit him to try to get your money back. Looks like sucker bait to me.
