Hey people, I have been watching the site develop since I found it and joined up on July 14.
On that day there were 11 pages of items available for sale and the forum was not up and running. Today there are approximately 3-4 times that many pages of items for sale on any given day.
This is fast becoming a great resource for collectors worldwide. While many hundreds of sites are sitting around on the web, there is traffic here!
How many times have you found a site and searched the inventory to find that the majority of items are sold? I see it often!
It is dead easy to list things you wish to sell! There are no fees! There are few restrictive rules and real live support! This site unlike eBan is friendly and helpful. Unlike many other sites, it has a fine and ever changing selection of items in all price ranges!
It is a conduit to sell and to buy as well as a resource for wisdom. Support the site with more activity! We do not want to lose the opportunity to have a truly democratic institution in a hobby so full of dictatorships and pirates.
List your extras and buy some hole fillers. What have you got to lose?
Please read the forums and reply in thoughtful and relevent ways!
Please bring dialog and content to make visiting the site an experience beyond just getting that Black Wound Badge for your new tunic!
Let's see some more links to videos and text content!
Also the web is a daunting place to search! A few words in google and you get a set of results. A few different words and ,...oops, nothing relevant!
So if you find great sites (Like the Pacific Wrecks Database!) post them for all to enjoy!
Everybody here is a partner in an innovation and it is costing you Nothing! Not a penny! Imaging the cost to get something like this designed, online, maintained, and getting eyes to fall upon it constantly!
This, in essence is your new website! You share it with the rest of us! Do your best to see to it that we grow!
Lastly, anyone realizing what this is, should send Bob Treend a thank you email. Just as he was a pioneer and visionary in the early years of this hobby's expansion, He is doing what nobody else has undertaken. It is a place for neighbors and friends to interact. Without it we are stuck with just the other options out there.
