A couple of years ago I sent 4 emails to Tom Johnson asking for some info about the MAX and I never got a reply so I didn't go to it. If thats the way its run they can have it without me!!!! By the way what is the best show for nazi militaria?

The show thats taken top spot for the moment; in the US - the SOS.
As for how long, that will depends on how involved the gd /max crew get, the more involved the faster it will crash and burn.

As I said the max show used to be the very best, but about the 2000 show, it really started its decline very fast.
Its really the new self proclaimed EXPERTS who's actions have been less than honorable, less than honest, that have brought about this turn of events.

As noted in the New York Times, the Hobby of collecting Militaria is growing very fast, new persons are getting involved at a higher rate than ever before.
The one point that was noted as to why this turn of events has happened, was the internet..

Again folks; if you know of a collector that dose not know about this sight, For God sake tell them about it, give them the Web sight address..
