You can add a photo to your posts. Here's what the FAQ section says.
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).
This can be kind of intimidating to some users, so to make things easier I'm looking into the idea of giving you a place to store your photos on our server. It would work just like it does when you post a photo to an ad. This should make it quick and easy to share your pics with the other readers. If you are computer savy enough, you can go ahead and post photos using the method described in the FAQ, or just wait a while till I have the storage system working. Please be patient, it will take a while to figure this out.  |

| If you want a place to house pics so you can list them here, try photobucket.com I just say someone else used it so I joined for free and loaded a couple of pics. No sweat! |

Thanks for the tip RZM! I just checked it out and you're right, it is just what the doctor ordered. The main thing l like is that I won't have to pay my programmer to set something up.... So, if you want to show a picture with your post, go to photobucket.com, set up a free account, put your pic there, then give the url in your posting... simple.
Another thing, someone asked my why pictures don't just appear on the pages of the post without having to click on them? I've seen this on another forum and it does seem to be neat... however, keep in mind that over 60% of internet users are on dial-up, and when they click on pages loaded with large pictures, it takes forever for the page to load. And besides, why wait for a bunch of pics to load if you're not interested in them anyway. It's better to just click on the ones you really want to see.
