There are some SS volunteer shields for sale here and I am interested but don't know a real one from a bad one. Can anybody tell me how to tell the diference? Could use some help.

If you have no knowledge in this area of collecting?.

My advice is to type the particulars into the google search engine, and click images after your initial search results have been examined.

There are bound to be photos of the items online.

There are no shortcuts to success in collecting. The research is PART of the collecting experience for people wanting items in any field.

Do you really want to start out by relying on stranger's opinions for your investment decisions?

Hello stated already there is alot of info on the net. But there are also alot of books that can be of great help. To use as learning tools and as refrences. Hope this helps David Guist.
