Are these the silver class badges?

Im new to collecting and i have seen some badges that appear silver but are listed as the black class (wound badge). Also is there anyway to tell what the tank badge is made of? I have seen examples in bronze or silver. Im assuming this tank badge is a later piece maybe made of zinc?

Anyone provide their opinions on these items? Both pieces appear to be unmarked.

That wound badge is definately black, just has some wear to the finish. The tank badge is ''silver'' and probably late issue.

Thanks for the help, i appreciate it. Iwas hoping the wound badge would be silver but later issue so thats why the back isnt solid.
