Dave,

Are you saying there are items listed on this site, which from your many years of research, you personally know absolutely and positively are reproductions/FAKES?

If a piece cannot be identified as ABSOLUTELY fake by the pictures it might manage to stay posted, after all it can be extremely hard to tell some items are a copy by photos. Fake sellers almost always use the sold as is method.

Generally though as research turns up the truth, the repro item disappear. You may think it has sold, but likely not.

a. If you have read all the guidelines of the site, you know the site owner requested that members assist in identifying that sort of listing.
If you have read the forums you know that all this has all been covered before.

Items listed with purposely bad pictures are also at risk of being ended. The consensus is that there really is no excuse for poorly done pictures in 2008.

I joined this site to get away from copies and to have a reliable destination for real historical war relics.

Reproductions, FAKES, Replicas, Copies, REPROS
There are many places people can dump that sort of refuse.
My first suggestion would be a landfill

However if you have a monetary theme to your interest in these pieces of commercial merchandise, the web is at your service.

a. Become an ePier seller.
b. Become a eBay powerseller!
c. Start up a website of your own, with a National Socialist name.
d. consign your items to an auction house.

Whatever method you employ, the likelihood is that most sales will be made to people who think they are getting the real thing, and are neophytes in this troubled field of collecting war relics.

I am sure Bob will end every listing that is concluded to be an outright fake. Some really beautiful state of the art copies have been removed.

People need to remember that Bob is no trembling lamb in this field. Having run the most successful collector to collector ad magazine for 15 years and also having a successful mail order auction for years, he learned the true nature of this area of collecting. He is not one to challenge over this issue.

When it comes to time of manufacture, it is his way or the highway.

Oh I completely Understand. I realy do. But what I dont understand is why you dont remove the repos peolpe are calling original? If you look they are there. I dont see the diffrence . So that way they can at least be labled as such. Best regards.

I don't understand. Why don't you read the other sections of the site before asking questions like that. If you did you would see that Bob has explainded this several times before. Instead of saying there are already repros on the site why don't you help by telling him about which ones you think are bad so he can remove them. I don't want to drive anyone off this forum but come on let's be reasonable.
